Privacy
Policy.
This policy explains how the Sparrow tutorial handles learning progress, bookmarks, notes, and information you choose to send to its support team.
Who this policy covers
This Privacy Policy applies to Sparrow: Self-Custody, an educational tutorial application for iPhone and iPad, and to support communications concerning that app. Sparrow: Self-Custody is developed by Eshmira Taleeha and provided by DAHRA GLOBAL TRADERS (PRIVATE) LIMITED. In this policy, “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to that company.
This policy does not govern other wallet applications, the Bitcoin network, Apple, or third-party websites and services.
Local learning information
The tutorial saves the following information locally on your device so learning features work:
- Identifiers for lessons or modules you complete.
- Identifiers for lessons you bookmark or save.
- Notes you type into lesson note fields.
This information is not transmitted to or collected by us merely because it is stored in the app. It may be included in device backups according to your Apple and device settings.
No wallet or financial information
Sparrow does not create or connect to a wallet and does not require a seed phrase, recovery words, private key, wallet file, xpub, passphrase, password, real bitcoin address, balance, or transaction history. It does not sign or broadcast transactions and does not use real bitcoin.
Never put sensitive wallet information into lesson notes or support messages.
Information you choose to send us
If you contact tutorial support or send feedback, we collect the information in your message, such as your email address, app version, device and operating-system details, screenshots, issue description, feature request, and other information you voluntarily provide.
We use it to respond, troubleshoot, improve lessons and app functionality, investigate security reports, and maintain a record of the request. Do not send wallet credentials or unnecessary financial or personal information.
No analytics or advertising SDKs
The current tutorial does not include analytics, advertising, tracking, account, or cloud-sync SDKs. We do not collect app interactions, device identifiers, precise location, contacts, photos, browsing history, financial information, or usage analytics through the app.
Apple may independently process App Store downloads, purchases, crash diagnostics, and device information under Apple’s own terms and privacy policy. That processing is controlled by Apple, not us.
Limited operational purposes
Information you send to us is used only to:
- Provide tutorial-app support and respond to feedback or feature requests.
- Investigate bugs, security reports, and performance problems.
- Improve educational content and app usability.
- Protect users, the app, and our legal rights.
- Comply with applicable law and valid legal process.
When support information may be shared
We may share support information with service providers that operate email or support infrastructure, when required by law or necessary to protect rights and safety, or as part of a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets.
We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. Any service provider that processes user information for us must provide the same or an equivalent level of protection described in this policy.
How long information is kept
Lesson progress, bookmarks, and notes remain locally on your device until you clear app data or delete the app, subject to Apple and device backups. To erase that local learning data, delete it through available in-app controls or delete the app and relevant backups.
We retain support communications only as long as reasonably needed to resolve the request, maintain security and business records, and meet legal obligations.
To request access to, correction of, or deletion of support information held by us, email timothey-aleenah7412@outlook.com. We may need to verify your request. We cannot retrieve or delete learning data stored only on your device.
Control available to you
- Choose whether to complete lessons, save bookmarks, write notes, or contact support.
- Review and edit notes before saving them locally.
- Limit what you include in emails, screenshots, and diagnostic reports.
- Remove local learning data through available controls or by deleting the app and related backups.
- Withdraw consent for optional processing or request deletion of support information by contacting us.
Protecting information
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards appropriate to the support information we handle. No device, storage system, or transmission method can be guaranteed completely secure. Protect your device, and never store wallet credentials in tutorial notes.
Not directed to children
Sparrow is not directed to children under 13, or the minimum digital-consent age in their jurisdiction, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child provided information to us, contact us so we can review and delete it where required.
Processing across borders
Support providers may process information in the United States or other countries where privacy laws may differ from those where you live. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers.
Updates to this policy
We may update this policy when Sparrow, our data practices, or applicable law changes. We will update the effective date and provide any additional notice required by law. App Store privacy disclosures should always match the data practices of the version currently distributed.
